FAI could be described as more ‘traditional’ aerobatics involving precision hovering and smooth flowing loops, rolls, stall turns etc.
3D is a much more advanced form of aerobatics with stunts literally performed with inches between the ground and the model, it will get the adrenaline of not only the pilot but also the spectator flowing.
